Chapter titles on the listing

Both fetched Amazon pages print the same 11-chapter list. An older search snippet of another Amazon URL listed 10 chapters in a different order. That page was not fetched, so the lists stay separate.

Titles as printed on the two pages read here.

  • Chapter 1 Foundations: Why On-Call Matters & SRE Principles
  • Chapter 2 Anatomy of an Incident: The Management Lifecycle
  • Chapter 3 Effective Alerting: Strategy and Routing Use Versus Incident
  • Chapter 4: Integrating Monitoring Sources and Escalation Policies: A Case Study
  • Chapter 5: Measuring Reliability: SLIs, SLOs, and Error Budgets
  • Chapter 6: Putting It All Together: Practical Examples of Unified Alerting & Templating
  • Chapter 7: Learning from Failure: Blameless Postmortems
  • Chapter 8: Sustainable On-Call: Scheduling and Managing Burnout
  • Chapter 9: Effective Incident
  • Chapter 10: The On-Call Ecosystem: Tooling and Future Trends
  • Chapter 11: On-Call in Action: Digital Customer Onboarding in Banking

Chapter 9 stops at "Effective Incident" on both pages. This note does not finish that title. The listing names Versus Incident as the free alerting example. The store copy also names the incident lifecycle, reliability goals, learning without blame, on-call schedules, and a supportive team. Those lines are the product description. They are not a reading of the chapters.

Author

The Amazon author path is /Quan-Huynh/e/B0F6TPNTQF. The author box on both pages says he is a founder of DevOpsVN. That claim is the Amazon bio. It was not checked against another source.

Versus Incident

DevOps Tools already catalogs Versus-Incident as a webhook incident tool. The book body was not read, so this note does not claim the May 2025 examples match today's repository. The GitHub README read on 3 November 2026 calls the project a self-hosted AI SRE agent.

The GitHub API the same day, for VersusControl/versus-incident, returned these fields. The description starts "The self-hosted AI SRE agent." Language is Go. The default branch is main. The license SPDX id is MIT. created_at is 2025-02-04T15:20:06Z. pushed_at is 2026-11-02T05:14:46Z. Stars were 924. Forks were 172. Star counts move.

The README says incidents arrive two ways and then share notification, templating, and on-call logic. One way is the AI SRE agent. The other is a webhook POST. Named agent modes are training, shadow, and detect. The features list names Slack, Microsoft Teams, Telegram, Viber, Email, and Lark. That same list names PagerDuty, Opsgenie, incident.io, and ServiceNow. A later on-call section names AWS Incident Manager and PagerDuty. Docs are at docs.versusincident.com. This note does not copy install steps.
