Three tools compared on 2026-10-17: ElevenLabs, VoiceStudio (the user's "omivoice studio", renamed from OmniVoice Studio), and V-Clone. Facts are from each vendor's own pages; Vietnamese audio quality was not listened to for any of them. The table holds twelve rows across the three tools. It records type, who makes each one, where it runs, the cloning method, the sample needed, whose voice may be cloned, Vietnamese support, other features, API, price, commercial use, and privacy. ElevenLabs is the hosted option with a public API. VoiceStudio is the open-source desktop app that runs locally. V-Clone is the closed-source Windows app aimed at film dubbing. The recommendations after the table turn those rows into four situations.

Recommendations
Vietnamese cloning, best quality and least risk
: ElevenLabs on Creator or above. Use PVC on your own voice, and eleven_v4 (or eleven_v3) for Vietnamese since Multilingual v2 does not support it. Normalize numbers in text if you use Flash v2.5. Do a blind listen against a Vietnamese-native option such as VieNeu or Vbee before committing (not covered here).
Self-hosting, privacy, experimenting for free : VoiceStudio. Local, free, 3–10 s samples, good fit for a Mac with Apple Silicon. Treat outputs from the default OmniVoice weights as non-commercial until the weight license is confirmed; for local Vietnamese-specific cloning, compare with valtec-tts / v-tts too.
Commercial products or client work : ElevenLabs paid plan, because the commercial terms are explicit and API-ready. VoiceStudio is usable commercially only if both the app license (AGPL or Pro) and the chosen engine's weight license allow it.
Vietnamese film/video dubbing on Windows, low budget : V-Clone is the one built for that workflow, but only after testing the Demo, because its model, rights, and terms are undocumented. Avoid it for anything where you need clear output rights.
Always: clone only voices you have permission to use.
The four recommendations follow from the table, not from a listening test. ElevenLabs is the hosted pick with a public API and a paid commercial license. Use PVC on your own voice and eleven_v4 for Vietnamese. VoiceStudio is the local open-source app. Samples can be 3 to 10 seconds, and the audio stays on the machine. V-Clone is the low budget Vietnamese dubbing option on Windows only after a Demo test. Its model, rights, and terms are undocumented.
